Yesterday was a very good day for waterfowl migration here in the Breaks! The
little Beaver Pond hosted 25 Wood Ducks, 3 Hooded Mergansers, 2 Mallards, 1
Ruddy Duck, 1 Pied-billed Grebe and a Great-blue Heron. Laurel Lake had 4
Pied-billed Grebe and 2 Ring-necked Ducks.
