Buchanan County Bird Club Members and other interested persons,
We will have a club "picnic/dinner" and outing at the Breaks Park this Friday
at 5:00 p.m. If the Potter's Knoll shelter is not in use we will eat there. If
it is we will try for shelter No. 2, a bit farther into the park and on the
left, where we have picnicked before. Those attending should bring a sandwich
or other main food item they would like, and the club will provide drinks,
chips and dessert. After eating we will take a hike down to the lake to see
which bird species we can locate there.
Since Lynda and I have to pick up drinks, chips, etc. we need to know how much
to buy, so please reply to this e-mail with a "Yes" or "No" as to whether you
plan to attend or not. We haven't had an outing of this type for sometime, so
let's get together and enjoy each other's company and some of this September
weather in July.
Non-members are welcome to join us. Just let me know that you plan to attend.
