My daughters and I monitored the boxes on the Early White Trail following our
aforementioned picnic. Had lots of great birds with two of the most exciting
being a Red-tailed and Cooper's Hawk. We also had a rather tense moment when
we happened upon the guy pictured below sunning himself on the walkway at Ken
Horn's house. Very photogenic isn't he? I apologize for this not being
bird-related but wanted to share it anyway.
