[bcbirdclub] Bluebird boxes

This evening the daughters and I monitored the nesting boxes on the Early White
Trail. You can imagine the squeals of excitement (the girls were pretty
excited too) when the first box we checked had a newly hatched chick and four
eggs in it. All in all we had 8 or 9 hatchlings in 5 boxes. I'm also pleased
to report nesting activity of some kind in all but 3 boxes. Many thanks to
Roger for replacing the missing box.
So sorry that I won't be able to make the trip to Elk release sight on Sat. I
hope that it is a nice and bird-filled day.
