A Yellow Warbler, a Red-eyed Vireo, a Northern Parula an Ovenbird and a
Black-throated Green Warbler all came into the cherry tree outside our
kitchen window yesterday. The female Black-throated Warbler then came right
up to the window to the blooming Joe-Pye Weed, also known as Queen of the
Meadow, and started foraging for insects. I then got the (attached) photo.
It looks like the bird has an insect in its beak. The tip of its beak is
hidden behind a part of the flower.
