This adult male Redstart and this Wood Thrush were 2 of the 35 species that
I found in and around the yard today here on Compton Mountain. I had 5
warbler species with the Nashville being the first of that species I had
seen this season. I also had my first Gray Cheeked Thrush and first
Ruby-crowned Kinglet of the season.
The species that was hands down the most numerous of the day was the Cedar
Waxwing. There were 55 of them in the yard stream and in the nearby trees
early this morning.
The day's complete list is at the bottom of this post.
