[bcbirdclub] Bald Eagle on Big Cedar Creek

Folks,
Sighted an adult Bald Eagle perched in a tree along Big Cedar Creek near
Wal-Mart in Lebanon at approx. 9:15 this morning. Returned home immediately and
telephoned Laverne Hunter to pass the word on to Tom, then returned to
photograph the Eagle at approx 9:45. Upon returning to the area a maintenance
worker was parked along the road who also saw the Eagle that then took flight
downstream and around the bend toward US 19. I estimate the Eagle was perched
for at least 25-30 min. - the length of time from first sighting until
returning and its departure. It was an auspicious beginning for the day!
Following are a few embedded photos taken w/a 135 lens at about 200 ft. for
your consideration.
