On June 9, 2008 the Buchanan County Bird Club held its regular monthly meeting
at the Breaks Park instead of the regular meeting place at the Buchanan County
Public Library.
Those attending brought their own picnic lunches and ate at one of the picnic
shelters.
Afterwards the group took a hike along the Loop Trail with 87 year old club
member, Ernest Raines, leading the group. Being late in the day the birds were
not very active, but there were several interesting plants to see along the
trail.
