Three weeks ago, I saw a Northern Harrier on the right fork of Guesses
Fork. If I remember correctly, that's the first NH I've spotted on GF.
Last Sunday, March 15, I jumped a woodcock three times. It really liked my
hiking trail, I guess, because it refused to fly very far.
Yesterday at Southern Gap, the birds were practicing social distancing, for
the most part (well, it was raining), but I saw a Great Blue Heron flying
over and a turkey gobbler in full strut.
