Birding the fence rows and field edges yesterday produced my FOS White-eyed Vireo, an Ovenbird, several Brown Thrashers & the usual Cardinals & Song Sparrows. Our 2 resident Red-shouldered Hawks & a Red-tailed Hawk were present as well. Our feeders still produced 5 White-throated Sparrows & 4 Purple Finch but no Juncos or Fox Sparrows. I also had a Towhee singing in the fence row. Dave R/Breaks,VA PS: The Bluebirds, Tree Swallows, Robins & Phoebes are busy around the farm these days. It's such a grand time of year for us birders!
