| This morning I found a 2nd or 3rd year Bald Eagle perched in a tree by the
creek across from Ballenberger's Farm here in Belfast about a mile east of my
house. He keeps trout stocked in his stream, so Eagles are showing up
frequently. The man who stocks the trout said they are usually there around 10
am.This Bald Eagle, along with the Golden Eagle flying over my house Sunday,
plus the Osprey I found at the Mud Hole made for a good week of top raptors in
my neighborhood. The down side is they are bulldozing the Mud Hole. I only hope
it doesn't work for them. Peggy |
