Saturday, I took the action to distribute the latest "Welcome to Broadkill"
renter tickler for discussion at our next meeting. The latest version I have
is attached. Last edited in August 2022.

For Jim Bartlett, I definitely don't want to take on any of your Recording
Secretary duties, but since you joined a little late (which may have been my
fault for not watching my phone), I did capture notes from Saturday's meeting
(see below). I'll leave it to you to work your magic.

Discussion:
* Movies on the beach are planned for this summer, but no dates are
determined yet.
* Porta-potties are good.
* For parking issues, contact State Police non-emergency number - (302)
644-5020.
* Dune crossings
* DNREC worked on crossovers in April as Senator Carper was supposed to
make a visit.
* Bob contacted Jessie Haden at DNREC, who said DNREC would return if
additional maintenance is needed.
* Bay Beach Association (BBA)
* BBPA has joined the BBA for $1K.
* First meeting in Slaughter ~1 month ago.
* Todd Lawson (Sussex County) is our representative since we are
unincorporated.
* DNREC getting $28M in Federal money for Bay Beach
maintenance/sustainment.
* 90/10 Federal/State funding split so State needs to find $2.8M.
* John Cain(sp?) is Senator Carper's representative and is an advocate
for Broadkill.
* Hope is a new Partnership Protection Agreement (PPA) for all Bay
Beaches (incl. Broadkill) within 1-1/2 to 2 years.
* Mark and Tess expressed an interest in attending next BBA meeting and
Bob will notify them when he learns details.
* Flag has taken a beating and we should discuss at next meeting.
* Renter "tickler" was discussed and will be a topic for next meeting.
* Discussed Tidewater meter installations and associated challenges (cut
cables, tree branches, damages due to water contamination during cutovers).
Consider adding Tidewater contact information to newsletter.
* Kelley Pedersen is interested in running for the Board. Bob will speak
with her.
