I would lean to AMD. More cores, but Intel still reigns as a single thread
computation king. But multi threaded, AMD it's in top with more cores.
That's why the new i-5 have went up from 4 to 6 cores. I-7's are the same.
Intel is playing catch up and AMD is cheaper per core.

I am starting to put together my design for a new PC and have not been as

thoughts on it.
- As for motherboard I will probably go ASUS or MSI but if anyone has
some strong recommendations I would love to hear them.
- AMD or Intel. I have heard a few things regarding AMD's new 7
nanometer from Stephen. Is it really more powerful and cooler?
- Nvidia or AMD? For the last 15+ years I have only purchased Nvidia,
has AMD improved significantly enough? Is it worth dropping 1000+ on a new
video card or is AMD close enough?
Thanks!
