Hi, Everyone,
My 10th grade English teachers are revamping the curriculum to align with
our Sophomore Projects that are research papers and presentations that can
be on any topic as long as it has a Sacramento angle. They are looking for
books to read that will relate to that. Specifically, right now, they are
looking for a play.

Does anyone know of a play that would appeal to sophomores and either take
place in Sacramento/California or relate to a topic such as Japanese
Internment, Gold Rush, flooding, water/drought issues, Donner Party, Black
Panthers, farming, etc.? For instance, a play about Japanese internment
that takes place in the Northwest would work even though the setting isn't
Sacramento because it can relate to the internment that happened here as
well.

Thank you!

Jo
