I just got a quote from NYT for two subscription options:
1. In-school IP address recognition only for all students, faculty, anyone
on campus for $1,419 per year (we have 1650 students)
2. In-School and off site access and use for $2,641/year.
The sales rep who gave me this quote is: Condor, Mark

Hi Claudia (and everyone),
We also subscribe to the NYTimes schoolwide access. We pay $2616/year for it,
but it is one of our most used resources by the entire school community. We
didn't need to have a .edu--we subscribed through a school program. Our point
person at the Times is Mark Condor.
Thanks!

I was told the same thing by the New York Times. They said we could only get
the educator's discount if our school's email address includes .edu domain.
Very frustrating.

This is awesome, Christina! When I contacted a WSJ/Dow sales rep last school
year re: a subscription, I was told that because Sacred Heart Prep's email
addresses don't include a .edu domain, we didn't qualify for a school
subscription!! Grrr.... sounds like I was misinformed, or things have changed.
Either way, thanks very much for the current info!

I have never found a school/group subscription to the WSJ so if someone finds
that I'd love to know. I did find an educator's subscription through Dow Jones
that a number of teachers are using. $49 for a year of print and digital WSJ.
Weirdly you HAVE to take the print edition and many teachers don't want that so
I don't pay for the WSJ any more - I just take their print copies. But Dow
Jones is a pain to work with. It usually takes 2-3 followup messages to get
everything working correctly.
