I just got a quote from NYT for two subscription options:


  1.  In-school IP address recognition only for all students, faculty, anyone 
on campus for $1,419 per year (we have 1650 students)
  2.  In-School and off site access and use for $2,641/year.

The sales rep who gave me this quote is: Condor, Mark

Hi Claudia (and everyone),

We also subscribe to the NYTimes schoolwide access. We pay $2616/year for it, 
but it is one of our most used resources by the entire school community. We 
didn't need to have a .edu--we subscribed through a school program. Our point 
person at the Times is Mark Condor.

year re: a subscription, I was told that because Sacred Heart Prep's email 
addresses don't include a .edu domain, we didn't qualify for a school 
subscription!! Grrr.... sounds like I was misinformed, or things have changed.

that I'd love to know. I did find an educator's subscription through Dow Jones 
that a number of teachers are using. $49 for a year of print and digital WSJ. 
Weirdly you HAVE to take the print edition and many teachers don't want that so 
I don't pay for the WSJ any more - I just take their print copies. But Dow 
Jones is a pain to work with. It usually takes 2-3 followup messages to get 
everything working correctly.
