Hello collective brain...
Our school has a rare/old books collection of about 12-1500 items. At one
point, there was a valuation done - before I came – over 10 years ago. The
school cannot find a copy of the valuation and my administrators are asking
me if the collection is valuable or not – with the eye to possibly disband,
move it, etc. As you know, space is always an issue on campuses... has
anyone had to deal with this? I welcome any and all suggestions. Of course,
I can probably get a general idea about some of our first editions, but I
truly do not have time to do searches on all of the items. Of course, they
would like this information as soon as possible!
