I am excited to host BAISL members at San Francisco University High School
next week! As an urban school one of the challenges for staff and visitors
alike is getting here and parking. I highly recommend coming via public
transportation if that is possible for you. The number 3 Jackson Muni bus
comes from downtown San Francisco and stops half a block away. The 3
Jackson is easily accessible from the Montgomery Street BART station. We
are also close to a couple other major bus lines: the 43 Masonic stops a
block away and the 1 California is about four blocks away.
For those of you who are driving, if you can carpool, that will ease the
parking situation. Luckily, the day of the meeting has no street cleaning
restrictions so you will be able to park on the street throughout the
neighborhood. Additionally, there is no school so most of our teachers will
not be on campus. Parking on Jackson Street is a 2-hour limit, but several
close side streets have a 3-hour limit.
If you would prefer to park in a lot, there are a few pay lots within
walking (or short Lyft ride) distance. If you go to

We have a full and exciting meeting planned--complete with cupcakes
