Agree with everyone else so far. They're SUPER racist (even a quick glance
at the Congo and American West books will show that) and should not be on
the shelf for kids. Especially since there are thousands of not racist,
age-appropriate comic books (or graphic novels, however you want to
describe them) out there. If our focus as youth services librarians is
windows, mirrors, and sliding glass doors, then there is no reason we
should we have Tintin on our shelves.
