Dear Folks,
For many years now, Nueva has contracted with nationally-known storyteller Jim
Weiss to visit our school during our annual Book Fair. He has been such an
amazing success, teachers at all grade levels want him to spend time with their
classes. Jim has a huge repertoire of stories from all over the world and from
different time periods he can enact — many with curricular connections. He can
also conduct writing workshops with younger and older kids.
We are booking Jim to visit Nueva the week of November 28-December 2. He
charges $1000 per full day, plus travel and hotel expenses. If any of you want
to host Jim during that week, we could share expenses. Please let me know!
