Hi, Mary Anne,

No food is allowed in the library, period.  Drinks are allowed, although we
try to remind our students that water in a container with a lid is best
:-)  I'm actually amazed at how good the very large majority of our
students and faculty are about observing this; a culture of "no food" was
already established when I joined the library two years ago, and it takes
minimal enforcing for us.

Good luck!

Dear high school librarian colleagues,

Quick question:  *do you allow students and faculty to eat lunch in your
high school library?*

Thanks,
Mary Anne
