Much like Divergent and Hunger Games; oads of cliffhanger action and also the
characters are complex and faced with ethical dilemmas.
A bit brutal, so definitely for less sensitive readers. Highly recommended for
adults as well.

Has she read any of the Leigh Bardugo titles yet? My middle schoolers and I
have enjoyed reading her Grisha Trilogy and the new Six of Crows / Crooked
Kingdom titles. The YA specialist at Books, Inc. correctly terms Six of Crows
as a 'fantasy Ocean's Eleven heist story'.
