Just the other day, I heard rave reviews from a 7th grader about: The Goblin’s
Puzzle: Being the Adventures of a Boy with No Name and Two Girls Called Alice.

Also has a starred review from SLJ.

 is brilliant!
Much like Divergent and Hunger Games; oads of cliffhanger action and also the
characters are complex and faced with ethical dilemmas.
A bit brutal, so definitely for less sensitive readers. Highly recommended for
adults as well.

Subject: [baisl] Page turner suggestions for 7th grader

Dear Colleagues,

Hope you all had a restful Thanksgiving vacation.

I am in search for suggestions of mysteries, thrillers, page turners for a 7th
grader.  Any suggestions?   She is a strong reader and has in past found
Divergent interesting..She is getting bored and wants something exciting...

Have you received any suggestions from your middle schoolers? A book you can
not put down☺

Thanks,
