*Roundtable: Librarians and Diversity – What Does It Mean for Your School?*
*Date*: January 15, 2018

*Description*: Our roundtables are professional development opportunities
exploring best-practice strategies for incorporating issues of diversity,
equity, inclusion, and justice. A collaboration between Bay Area
Independent School Librarians (BAISL) and People of Color in Schools
(POCIS).

After some intro activities, we plan on hosting one or two rounds of
breakout session workshops that will start with a quick 1-2 minute
lightning round so everyone knows what is available, followed by 20-minute
workshops. We envision breakout sessions will fall under one of the
following categories, or additional areas TBD by your proposals:
- Programming
- Collection Development
- Curriculum
- Space Planning
