I third Gale's "in Context" series.
Have a great day!

I'll second the Gale resources. They're geared toward middle school
students and are pretty user-friendly. We've also had some success with
Encyclopedia Brittanica online, which allows users to choose between
elementary, intermediate, and high-level content. Brittanica also has some
good links to external resources.
I'm interested in seeing what others have to say--this has been a
challenge for us as well.
Thanks,

Gale has a lot of different databases that skew younger and we have a
BAISL consortium rate. I would check them out.

Hi All,
We use JSTOR for our high school database, but its content is really too
advanced for our Middle School. Does anyone have a suggestion for a Middle
School level database that you use or have tried?
Thank you,
