Hi!

One of our seniors is organizing student book clubs for her Senior Signature
Project<http://www.bayschoolsf.org/Academics/SSP> (yay!!). Each senior at Bay
creates a two-trimester project of their own design; they are required to have
a volunteer mentor from outside the school to assist them. She is looking for a
mentor with experience running book clubs for teens or tweens who can give her
advice about the glories and pitfalls of running book clubs. The commitment
would be from January 2015 to June 2015. After an initial getting-to-know-you
meeting, you would communicate with her via email or phone roughly once a
week/every two weeks to advise her on issues she encounters, book
recommendations, or just giving pep talks. The student is extremely
enthusiastic and self-motivated. It would be a treat to work with her.

Send me a direct email at rshaw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:rshaw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
if you are interested.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Rachel
