Hello everyone,
Our winter meeting is this week on Thursday, January 28th, at Moreau
Catholic from 9am to 3pm. If you have not RSVP'd please do so on our
event page [1], so we can have a good count for lunch. Please feel to
make a game day decision and come at the last minute. We will order
extra food just in case!
Here are some logistics for getting to Moreau Catholic:
BY CAR: Moreau Catholic is located at 27170 Mission Blvd. in Hayward.
Enter through the main driveway. Once through the gate, turn left into
the parking lot and you'll find the first two rows reserved for BAISL
members.
BY BART: Exit at the South Hayward Bart Station (walk to Mission Blvd,
turn left on Mission Blvd., and Moreau Catholic is located at 27170
Mission Blvd.

Whether entering through the main entrance or the back entrance, please
follow signs to the Library and Learning Commons. We are located on the
2nd floor, across from the main stairwell.
The agenda for the day will be:
9-9:30 Coffee, conversation and welcome
9:30-10:15 Short presentations on tools (Pinterest, Instagram, blogs,
3-D printing, graphic organizers)
10:15-11:00 Break-out sessions try out tools
11:00-11:15 Break
11:15-12 Business meeting
_12-1 Lunch_
1-2 Grade level conversations--In this session we will meet in small
groups based on the grade level we work with to talk about the work we
do, challenges we face, and support we need.
2-2:15 Break
2:15-3 Share-out about grade level conversations--In this session we
will hear what groups talked about, look for the commonalities and
differences in our work, and see how we can best shape BAISL to support
needs.
