A school librarian has begun creating a running list of first lines of
novels that might be useful to English as well as library.  I've copied
part of her to LM_net below:

If you find an error, let me know. I am in the process of pulling books for
the display and double checking as I match them up.  I pulled quotes from
probably a dozen articles, twitter feeds and booklists.

master database.

The display case is entitled "Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover."
