The HS selection committee for the Overdrive BAISL Consortium collection
has just placed a major order! We made a large purchase at the beginning of
the summer; we have spent most of the balance of this year's high school
budget on a wide variety of *e and audiobooks*, and they're here just
in time for winter break reading!
The team worked diligently, keeping in mind the goals for this
collection outlined in our shared collection development policy

to select over 130 new ebooks and about 75 new audiobooks. We have also
ordered duplicate copies of the 25 highest circulating items in the
collection. We were able to include suggestions submitted by BAISL members

Feel free to add more ideas there; we'll be placing a small order in the
spring and plan to place a larger one at the beginning of summer.
If you'd like to be involved in future selection for the HS Overdrive
consortium collection, please reach out to me. *This committee will be
looking for new members* - it's an opportunity to represent the
interests of your students!
