Subject: [baisl] Great meeting!
Hi BAISLeys (that doesn't work quite as well as the PAISLeys),
Thank you so much for that terrific meeting Friday! I got so much out of
meeting with you all and exchanging ideas and am grateful for that opportunity.
When we broke off into grade level groups, the middle school crew shared some
terrific resources around news literacy, but mentioned it's difficult to find
examples of fake news that aren't political. After digging through what was on
our shared doc

, the NY Times article (I think Kim Stuart shared it, thanks!) is chock-full
of excellent resources and ideas, including many non-political examples of fake
news.

Teaching and Learning About Fake News." The New York Times. The New York Times,

Looking forward to our next meeting and also to sharing an OverDrive collection!
Thanks,
Cassy
