I have it on my calendar though I haven't officially signed up yet. I won't

The California Department of Education is hosting a Media and Information
Literacy Summit in Sacramento, California, on May 23, 2018!
*Why attend?*
This exciting, full day of learning will include expert speakers and
panelists discussing the importance of media and information literacy and
how we can best support the development of these skills in all content
areas. Participants will also hear about the resources offered by KQED and
Common Sense Education and learn about the new online databases offered to
all K-12 educators, students, librarians, and administrators in the state!
*Attendance bonus*:
The California Department of Education has also teamed up with the
California School Library Association, Encinitas Union School District,
KQED, Common Sense Education, the San Diego County Office of Education, and
the California County Educational Technology Consortium to create an online
information literacy toolkit, which will provide a variety of resources and
be unveiled at the summit.
