Our school theme this year is "Stories Shape Our Lives", and it has been
great as a librarian to support the joy of reading and stories. This week
we are doing workshops for the entire community on this theme.
Has anyone ever done a reading workshop? See samples below. Please send me
your thoughts on a reading workshop for grades K-4.

Hamlin's Spring Community Event is right around the corner! Mark your
calendar to come together at Hamlin on *Thursday, April 28 from 5:30-7:30
p.m*. to celebrate how we are all *Shaped by our Stories. *Everyone
(parents, girls, and teachers!) is encouraged to dress up as their favorite
storybook character, so start planning your costume today!
*There will be lots of fun workshops for the whole family to enjoy,

- Bookmaking with Ms. Willow and Ms. Shelby
- Improv with the storybook characters with Ms. Q
- Stories through song with Mr. Polk
- What’s your Hamlin story? Share your favorite Hamlin moment on video

- Photo booth fun: Make a new story!
