Thank you for taking the initiative to contact more schools, Kathy! Since
we are K-8, we will receive books that are appropriate for elementary,
middle, and high school so it will be great to have other schools to donate
to. Please let me know when you hear back from them and what their
preferences are.

after that I really need to concentrate on getting our community ready for
our first online bookfair.
Next week, after I get back from the Internet Librarian conference, I will
be contacting the librarians at Hidden Valley Satellite School (K-8) and
The Anova Center for Education, Sonoma County's only nonprofit school for
children living with autism. I also plan on talking to a rep. from St.
Vincent de Paul about helping families with children who are iving in
homeless shelters. I will be sure to let you know what I find out and maybe
you can share anything you discover.

Bentley Children’s Book Drive
October 25 - November 3
The Hiller campus will be sponsoring a Children’s Book Drive (October 25-
November 3) as part of our fire relief efforts. Please help us give a
little joy to the many children impacted by the fires by donating a new or
used book. Any book in good condition is appreciated. Books can be dropped
off at the Hiller library. This is a wonderful way for your children to
help those in need.
