I have both - I tend to use Britannica more with upper school students and
WBOL more with middle school students. The WBOL newspapers are nice but
those are just links to the newspapers' websites. If there is a paywall (ie
NYT) it doesn't get you past that.

Hello friends,
Hope this is not taboo ... realizing that BAISL has a consortium deal with
Britannica, which I respect and value, I'm wondering if anyone has
relatively recently compared Britannica Academic with World Book Online
Advanced (WBOA)?
At first comparison it appears they offer similar features and content,
but I'm tempted by WBOA's online access to world newspapers, including the
NYT.
I'd welcome opinions on the strengths or drawbacks of either resource.
Thanks!
