We also use Follett hosted. It does not sync with our SIS but a member of
our school's IT team helps me upload students' photos to the system every
year.
We have emailed students directly from Destiny although I have found that
we receive a better response rate when we individually email students and
their families. It makes for a lot of work at the end of the year when we
collect textbooks but worth it.
I love the service overall. I have found Follett customer service
representatives to be very helpful and love not having to manually update
our system.
