Tana what a good idea to have a place to compare and update our policies.
I wrote mine in 2005 and have looked at it rarely since then! We have WASC
review coming up, we've added ebooks (our joint Overdrive collection also
has me thinking about this) and I thing it's time for me to revisit my
policy and update it.

I think there might be a lot of interest in this topic Eileen! Ours
hasn’t been changed in years!
If others are interested in sending me their Collection Dev Policies
directly I will volunteer to create a Google document that we can all share
and reference to help us collaborate.
Or if someone has a better idea on how we can share these documents on
the BAISL website that would be great too.

Good Morning,
One of my goals this year is to begin work on a collection development
policy that reflects our current mission and recognizes the changing
landscape of the HS library.
I am reaching out to this group to ask if anyone has recently worked on
one.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to look at a few as
benchmarks.
Also, related,...wondering how many of you have put together teams as
part of your library's Reconsideration Policy. Who is on your team or
advisory committee?
Thanks for your help.
