Hi Debbie,

It's Meryl Eldridge, from Flintridge Preparatory School. Question: I'd love to
go to China, and I did see a nod to "other professionals" in the literature.
Librarians qualify for that, don't they? Or not?

Thanks for your input.

Meryl

The 2016 Summer Institute on China program is sponsored by Fulbright-Hays Group
Projects Abroad, the Institute of East Asian Studies at UC Berkeley, UCLA
Confucius Institute, and San Mateo County Office of Education in partnership
with the Getty Conservation Institute, Huntington Gardens and other regional
organizations. The Summer Institute on China began in 2007 and is an intensive
four-week program that combines lectures by university faculty, discussions,
instructional strategy planning, curriculum development, an introduction to
Chinese language, and the opportunity to explore China firsthand. Teachers will
participate in a pre-travel orientation in Los Angeles hosted by UCLA and the
Getty Conservation Institute before traveling to China for continued training
as guests of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

best,
debbie
