Hello BAISL,
At the winter meeting we introduced the idea of revising the BAISL bylaws.
This occurs in organizations when there are more than a couple of bylaws
that need to be amended. As we approach our 40th anniversary, and with
several bylaws needing attention, it seems like the right time to do a
bylaws revision as well as examining our mission statement.
We will host a day-long meeting facilitated by an expert to accomplish the
revision in late March or early April. Current officers, the bylaws committee,
and any interested members are all invited. Will Marshall from Gale has
offered a brand new facility for us to use in SF that has a view of the
bay, wifi, and parking.
Please let me know if you are interested in being a part of this historic,
ambitious, and meaningful task.
