You might check with Contra Costa County Office of Education - Peggy Russell

They allow independent schools to purchase into their portal IF:
1. Your school is in CC County
OR
2. Your county office agrees to allow you to get services from CCCOE (all
pretty much do unless they offer the same thing)
CCCOE’s basic package is Discovery Education with Brainpop / BrainpopJr
/Spanish /French addon. The cost for this package (which also includes World
Atlas for Kids which is nice for the younger students) for $3.49 per FTE. So
for 100 students it is $349 for the year. This is about ¼ of the cost of what
I could get Brainpop (with Jr. and foreign language options) and Discovery
Education (which is very good) for.
You can add on World Book for .62 per student if you need it too.

Subject: [baisl] BrainPOP and Preferred Shelf-Ready Vendor?
Hello fellow Bay Area Librarians,
I'm the new librarian at the Keys School in Palo Alto and I and coming in to
some patterns new to me; I'd love to get your perspectives.
Before I got here, I'd never heard of BrainPOP but it seems to be a pretty
common purchase for school districts, considering all the teachers coming from
the local districts have heard of it. Do any of you use it in your schools? I
wonder if there is something more affordable for smaller institutions.
In my last school, we used Ingram as our preferred vendor but I don't see any
book vendor relationship information in my budget beyond Junior Library Guild.
I've called and found out that I can use JLG to purchase individual titles but
I wonder if folks are using any other vendors that I should check out.
