It was a pleasure to see many of you at last week's BAISL meeting in Vallejo. For those of you who weren't able to be there, we want you to know we've been able to arrange discounted registration for BAISL members attending Research Relevance: K-12 Library Instruction for the 21st Century, June 24-25, 2015 at Castilleja School in Palo Alto. Registration is now open for this participatory learning opportunity for school librarians interested in a deep dive into what constitutes relevant, exciting research instruction for today's students. When you register as an attendee you will have the opportunity to select that you are a BAISL member and the discount code is BAISL. This will bring the registration rate down from $275 to $250. This rate is available for the *first 10* BAISL members who register! If you're interested, please register sooner rather than later. Folks are coming from around the country and around the world. Since they have to make travel plans they're thinking further ahead, and our space is starting to fill up! We want to be sure to have a good representation of our excellent BAISL colleagues. We are honored to be the subject of a special BAISL professional development grant. If you need financial support to make this experience possible, you can find the streamlined application form for the BAISL grant here: www.tinyurl.com/baisl2015 and more information about Research Relevance here: castilleja.org/researchrelevance We should have a preliminary program posted within the next week! Thanks so much for your interest!
