Debra, We loved having Christian Robinson a few years ago at Live Oak. He did
two assemblies -- one for kindergarten and the other for 1/2 He read a book to
each group (Rain or Gaston), and then led an art activity. It was one of the
best author visits we've ever had, and we've had some great ones. He is coming
back again this year with many more books under his belt, and he's speaking to
larger groups. I imagine it will be very different this time, and am curious
to see what he chooses to do. I know you will have a great visit with him, and
I would totally trust him to make it meaningful and special for the kids. Let
me know how it goes! Jenny

Hi Debra,
Two years ago, Christian Robinson visited our school and it was wonderful. We
worked with the art teacher and had several classes in the art room for
students from K - 3. Christian talked about his art for Rain! and Harlem's
Little Blackbird and then lead the kids through some art exercises. It was
really fun. We would love to have him visit our school again anytime.
