Hello all,

At the October BAISL meeting, a new committee was formed: the BAISL Oversight 
Committee. 

The Oversight Committee will be charged with conducting a cyclical review of 
our mission statement and bylaws. We will also work on meeting programming, and 
become a brain trust of BAISL's historical programs so we tap into a broader 
set of inspired ideas and professional connections to further enhance our 
meetings.

The BAISL vice president, currently me, will serve as an ex officio member of 
the Oversight Committee.

One of our first tasks is to execute a survey of our members regarding future 
programming, since this was something suggested by our winter activity.
