For that level I think Accesscience.com by McGraw Hill would be great…they
include a glossary and excellent contributors.
Not too pricey for the value…;-)

Subject: [baisl] 6th grade online science gloassary
Good morning - our sixth grade science teacher has asked if there is a good
online resource for sixth graders where they can look up definitions of science
terminology. Examples she gave were "independent variable" and "convection
current." This would replace the glossary that was in the back of their science
book - they are not using a book this year. Any suggestions? I'm thinking a
website or even an ipad app - they will be getting their ipads next month.
Thanks - Cathy
