A Winter Park, Florida police officer is off the job with pay and will retire
with full benefits in June after an internal investigation into an incident in
which a Rollins College student was shot with a stun gun.
Officer Randy Davison signed a separation agreement with the police department
Friday after the investigation concluded he used excessive force and violated
procedures while responding to a report of underage drinking earlier this year,
according to the report.
Rollins student Kathleen Clyne was stunned in the January 13 incident, and she
is weighing whether to sue.
