Subject: Lifeguarding Certification Class

      Lifeguard Certification Class
      Lifeguard certification class teaches you how to handle extreme 
situations that can occur on land or in the water.  This class will give you 
the knowledge and skills you need to be able to react to almost any emergency 



      Includes: Lifeguarding, First Aid, Automatic External Defibrillator 
(AED), and
      CPR for the Professional Rescuer certifications.

      Participants must be 15 years old when class starts.  You will need to 
bring photo ID.  To be able to work in the state of Wisconsin as a lifeguard 
you have to be at least 16 years of age.

      Participants must attend all class hours and pass written and swimming 

      Certification is not guaranteed.

      Water test: 
      300 yard swim, 100 freestyle, 100 breast stroke, 100 choice between 
freestyle or breast stroke.
      8 foot retrieval of 10 pound object both of these tasks will be done on 
the first day of class.

      If you can not complete one or both of these challenges you will not be 
allowed to take the course.  You will be reimbursed $225 for the class but cost 
of books will be kept to cover the facility’s cost.  If the class doesn’t run 
due to low participation you will receive a full reimbursement. 


      - This includes all materials and instructor fees.

      April 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 27th, 28th

      Time : 

      4:30pm – 10:00pm

      Be sure to bring a swim suite and towel every day to class.  Make sure to 
have a note book and pen/pencil.
