Hope you're all doing well.
We have 12 B1 players signed up for the Cambridge tournament on 15th July
so far - 7 women and 5 men. Keith is finally back, plus Sidney coming down
south after his victory at Newcastle, so it should be quite a tournament!
We're hoping acoustics will be better, since the Saturday is all B1, and
the partials are playing on the Sunday.
I thought the deadline was this Saturday (17th June), but Alex, on the
Facebook group, just announced it's Wednesday, so there's a little
confusion over that. Better get your entry in ASAP if you're thinking
about it; you'd still have 2 weeks to withdraw without penalty, if it came
to it.
2 or 3 more men definitely wouldn't hurt! Any takers? Roy, doesn't look
like you're signed up yet, but I hope you're still planning to. Peter, are
you tempted?
Naqi isn't in the country for the moment, sadly, so we'll be missing him,
but, last I heard, it's still hopeful he'll be back with us before too
long.
