I wonder if your composite image shows Holmberg IX,
the dwarf irregular galaxy over on the east (right-hand) side
of your image. It might come out a little if the sky
background were medium-gray rather than black.
The double star southwest of M81 (upper-left)
has about 9" separation. The brighter star near it
is also double, at about 2" separation.
