Last night I decided to put some time on M81 and M82. Dimmer than M42 so it was
more of a challenge. Once again, I used my Canon 60 DA digital camera and did
44 x 300 second exposures with the 6nm Astronomik light pollution filter. This
was imaged from my home, 7 miles from the airport. I wish I could get a filter
like that for my FLI CCD camera. Hereâs a link.
