Sorry I missed the Polakii - I chose to miss the talks and visit with hordes of buddies in the vendor area. My favorite snapshots and a few impressions on the blog: www.theketelsens.blogspot.com -Dean ________________________________________ From: az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] on behalf of Tom Polakis [tpolakis@xxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, November 10, 2012 9:42 PM To: az-observing@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [AZ-Observing] Re: [hac] ASAE in Tucson 10-11 Nov 2012 Agreed, the number and quality of the vendors was impressive, particularly for its first year. We arrived around 11 a.m., and stayed until closing time at 6 p.m. With the excellent talks by Phil Plait and Don Petit taking a couple hours, it was frustrating to not even complete a full pass through the vendor area before it closed. Anybody who is going tomorrow should make a point of seeing Story Musgrave's talk. Tom ---- RL Gent <RLGent@xxxxxxx> wrote: > A truly amazing event. I can't begin to describe how impressed I was.
