Thanks Brad. I appreciate the two cents worth. Baader Hyperions are a good value and most perform very well in f 6 or slower scopes. They provide a 68 degree FOV and give clear, crisp and color free views to the field stop. Nice EP's, the 24mm has been panned though. Televue Naglers are expensive but perform very well at f 4.5 and slower. They provide an 82 dgree FOV and give clear, crisp and very slightly colored (some say coffee) views mostly to the field stop. Great EP's but several "Types" to choose from with various eye relief distances between types. Mostly very solid performers in all types of scopes. Another brand to look at if you CAN afford Naglers is Pentax XW's. Probably the crispest, sharpest and color free views out there. A 70 degree field of view and exceptional in scopes of f 7 or slower. The 20mm and 14mm exhibit some field curvature in faster scopes. You'll love them if you observe with glasses as they have an adjustable eye cup. Scopes of f 4.5 or faster would benefit from the use of a Paracor with any of the above EP lines. I chose Naglers as the Televue EP as I don't care for the narrow FOV of plossles and don't really care for Radians in general. I have not had good experiance with the Ethos line. My eyes get the kidney bean effect when I get close enough to see more FOV than one of my Naglers. Just MY eyes, most people love them !!! I sold my 13 Ethos after trying and keeping the Explore Scientific 14mm 100 degree. Just my eyes !!! Sorry it wasn't really very quick and dirty after all. Just my 2 cents. Two or three lines of back-up would be appreciated.
