I was using a pair of Celestron 25X100's. Pretty damned steady for holding
12lb of binos and an equal amount of weight.

I am sure if we plan it correctly they could be made easily in some sort of
quantity.
My final rendition was a bit time consuming on the mill and lathe, but maybe
it could be tweaked to make it less machine shop intensive. I could host
the construction here at home.
The really critical part of the building is making the pivot holes very
equal in distance on each part.

Say, Beevo-- do you think this might stir enough interest in folks to have
an aluminum bino mount party some time? I'd be interested in making an
aluminum rig, as my oak one is not as smooth as I'd like at times.
